Keyboard

Is every key on your keyboard alive

Every key you press lights up on the on-screen keyboard in real time, and tested keys stay green so you can see coverage at a glance. Great for checking a used keyboard before buying, after a spill, or verifying gaming keys. It also shows the key name and event code (e.code), which developers will appreciate. Everything runs in your browser.

Live highlight

Keys light up on screen the instant you press them.

Coverage tracking

Tested keys stay green so you can spot the ones you missed.

Key codes

Shows both e.key and e.code — handy for developers too.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I find a broken key?

Press every key in order. Any key that never turns green on screen is not registering physically.

Some special keys do not respond.

Keys like power, volume and Fn may be intercepted by the OS or browser and never reach the page — that is not a hardware fault.

Can I test key rollover?

Yes — hold several keys at once and all registered keys stay highlighted, useful for checking N-key rollover on gaming keyboards.
